March 1 ~ Raising Mary! Eric is finished carving the base and has moved the stone, that he will carve Mary out of, into the shelter. In this photo, he is using the chain hoist to raise the stone into a standing position, so he can begin the sculpting.

March 9th ~ Carving Mary! You can see the outline, drawn on the marble 
in chalk, of where Eric would like to go, as he slowly removes stone 
and Mary begins to emerge from the marble.

March 19th ~ Carving the front of Mary with 
the pneumatic drill to remove stone.
