We posted photographs weekly as the sculpture of Mary progressed.

July 5th ~ The crane truck arrives to place the base and the completed
sculpture of  Mary next to  the front entrance of the church. 
You can see the base swinging in space as it is swung to the lower 
level while  Eric and the crane owner, Joe Kennedy, guide it.

July 5th, continued below~

The base is lowered onto the foundation.
Notice the sun spots forming the shape of a cross over them!

Next, Mary, secure in sling straps, is moved into place. 

Mary is lowered onto the pins in the base that will secure her.
In the background, is one of the newspaper photographers 
that came to record the event for the local papers.

Mary is safely down on the base in her permanent home.
Eric gives thanks.
